Tairāwhiti Gisborne is often called ‘the Chardonnay capital of New Zealand’ – but what you may not realise is it is the home of the oldest micro brewery in NZ, Sunshine Brewery and also Harvest Cidery, which came about after the devestation of Cyclone Bola - we had to do something with all the apples!
This tasty tour takes you around our port, rivers, town beaches and connects you to all three great taste sites within our city limits. The Gisborne City Cycle Tour is the perfect trip for those who have an afternoon to spare. You will be sampling locally made wines, beers & ciders with a light lunch/platter at one of our selected sites.
The Great Taste City Cycle Tour offers easy riding and you will travel +/- 8 kilometers.
The tour costs $165 per person for 2 people, which reduces to $155 each for 3 or more.
