Captain Cook Cultural Tour | Guided

This interesting historical account visits the landing sites of Kiwa and Cook. Our knowledgeable local guide leads you to historic spots around our beautiful city.

Complete with a bicycle and a local guide you will be taken back over 600 years and learn about the settlement of our city by Maori and more latterly Europeans.

The tour takes you on local cycle ways, city roads, along the beach, via our museum, and other important sites.

This tour offers easy riding and is suitable for all age groups.  Approximately 8-10 kilometers.

The tour costs $185 per person for 2 people, which reduces to $165 each for 3 or more.  Children under the age of 15 tour for half price with each paying adult.
