Katrina Duncan took 4 of us on a wonderful overnight bike trip from Matawai via Eastwoodhill to Gisborne. The cycling was through a variety of landscapes, some challenging but a lot of downhills to make up for it! Overnight at Eastwood Hill was a delightful and tranquil stop .. a must to spend time enjoying the Aboretum and hospitality of Dan, Monique and Marion.

We had a winery tour with 14 girlfriends. Anelia was wonderful to deal with, making sure all our needs were met, putting together a fantastic itinerary. The bikes were stylish and comfortable, the vineyards she chose were great, working in with how many kms we wanted to cycle. She made sure we had a day to remember! Very very highly recommended!

A very enjoyable trip. Katrina and Anelia went out of their way to make sure everything ran to plan - and it did. This isn't a route with 5 star accommodation but the warm welcome, great rural hospitality, experiences such as the Eastwoodhill Tour (a standout!), wine and beer tasting and, most of all, the people, made it memorable. Oh and the cycling was a lot of fun too!

I'm just settling back into normal life in the US (boring!), and wanted to thank you again for the bike tour of the Gisborne area. I had a great time! It was a beautiful ride and I really appreciated how accommodating you (and Ella) were. :) If I ever find myself in Gisborne again, I'd certainly do another tour with your company.

Nancy and Jim and Mark and I partook, and truthfully this was one of the best bike tours I’ve enjoyed to date. We pedaled and drank and pedaled and ate and basically were able to zip around Gisborne, taking in a few monuments, a gloriously long stretch of beach on a bike-friendly boardwalk, then back into what might have appeared to be non-tourist part of town but which was, amazingly, a pub called the Smash Palace. Excellent hosts, deliciously cold cider, 2 house cats, and really, a terrific time all around.

I've just biked the Raukumara Traverse with my Husband and 2 friends. I could not fault anything, Katrina and Anelia gave us all the information we needed. They provided transport to the start of the ride and arranged gear transportation, accommodation and food along the way. This is a more remote part of NZ so accommodation was simple and hospitable. Lovely home cooked meals, lunches and everything we need for breakfast was provided. We are in our early 60's and reasonably fit. We managed without issue on our regular bikes, our friends rode e-bikes. Finishing the tour with a wine tasting and a visit to the Sunshine brewery was excellent.
